Ethos Magazine, founded by Fiona Shaw and Andrew Beattie, is a biannual magazine that talks about businesses changing the world with ethical aims and innovative ideas. Inside each issue, ethical business leaders and their teams give us, the audience, insight into their goals and ethos and why their approach is different.

Within Ethos 23, I interviewed, wrote and designed two features: Design for a Better World, speaking with the team at Shado about Protect the Protest, and the Photo Story, speaking with photographer Matt (Paradise Made) about Northwest Topographic.

The features explored community, creativity and the spaces around us, from using illustration to reframe protest as something joyful, accessible and a ‘vital tool for collective liberation’, to exploring changing landscapes through photography.
